Ro Gate of the world was HORRIBLE, so that's why they totally remade it.

The battle them was catchy, but it got VERY annoying after 100+ battles.

I thought of that too, but they said that they took the out because people only sued them to sell stuff and make potions (Genetics and mechanics however were very centered in fighting) So then, they decided to make them some sort of sub-jobs, also they said that there are still more Dual Life proffesions to come.
I just hope that a homunculous system will be implememnted in the future.
On a side note, This game takes place after RO1 when The godess Freya has aweakened. It is thought that RO and RO2 may get to a point where they cross storylines.
