I caught that as well and I think I've gotten the current clue at least partially figured out, but it's hard to reach a sure conclusion due to the nature of the clue and whatnot.
Anyway, the clue boils down to four main parts:
The news is breaking apart.
This could mean that each clue is meant to be taken seperately, or that it's meant to be taken seperate from the previous clue, or it's just filler content. I tend to think it's the last one, but I may be wrong. Anyway, the next three are a bit more important I think.
There's a single face on the cube of safety.
Which seems to suggest there's only one person that this applies to, but there are a few ways this could apply as I mention later on.
A fourteen or higher shall land you a critical in this game.
That would seem to suggest a specific number, like perhaps the number of players in the game? If so, Everyone above CoB is a suspect as far as the killer mafia member goes, or that one person above him isn't mafia, depending on whether the first part of the clue is implying the safety of one of the three people involved, but that would mean that 2 of the three are mafia, a critical thing to discover at this time. Or is it critical that only one of them is mafia, and the other two aren't. It's a maddening game of guess work at this point, but there's still more to the clue.
Only Wisdom Crystal Ores can form Wisdom Crystals.
The word that stood out to me is Ores. The only one with any ore type name is SteelSeraph, however, the act of creating Wisdom Crystals in Synthesizing, which looks an awful lot like Synthesist.
Thus there area few options to this clue:
1. Steel and Synth are mafia, Yoshi isn't
2. Steel or Synth are mafia, the other two aren't.
3. Steel and Synth aren't mafia, Yoshi is.
4. None of them are mafia, and this entire clue is a big waste of time.
