One of the most popular mangas in Japan. Japan has over 9000 popular manga serieses. Naruto is not the dominant market leader (in fact it pales compared to completely child-friendly animes like Doraemon, child-friendly but also enjoyed by adults too like Miyazaki Hayao films (latest is The Borrowers), upper-teen oriented animes like Bleach and Full Metal Alchemist and fully adult-oriented animes like Neo Genesis Evangelion Trilogy and Higurashi When They Cry. Even amongst the very small niche of preteen to low-teen there are other animes like One Peace (which is more popular here). What's left of the pie is so small a chinchilla could finish
