This is a theory that might be completely wrong so don't read too much into it.


As I have noticed the more you upgrade your armor the less damage you take and the more you deal out. And since you need all four apparently avoid damage while inside the cube and from the boss it's also possible that the armor will affect the damage you deal to the boss. And since you only deal more damage when the armor has your main stat on it this could mean everyone who is scrolling for int (except mages) could be screwed when it comes to the boss.

Of course this is nothing more than a theory.

Interesting. I have noticed that I deal more damage with the full set and a garnier than I do with just the bing glove and a lampion. I have scrolled them with INT, around 7+, I´d say the difference in damage is 200 or so right now.. So there is a damage increase from simply wearing the full set. Hopefully it is just the number of scrolls that increase the damage and not the actual stats, just like it does with DEF. Would make the most sense, 12x4 scrollings worth of LUK would be a piss in the Nile compared to my total LUK regardless, so why would it make an artificially bigger difference here? Logic and my observations so far make me inclined to believe number of upgrades are whats important.
