Rockseal's successrate is the same as Last Breath. And almost everything that you can use last breath on, you can use Rockseal on. The upside to rockseal is that certain monsters absorb dark attribute attacks so last breath won't work on them. So rockseal helps there. The downside to rockseal is that it leaves the enemy as a pillar there. So no walking through it.

Both last breath and rockseal count as status inducing attacks. They have an accuracy of 70% when hitting from behind.


Btw, I just looked up the formula on gamefaqs. They both do have the same accuracy. Also last breath will instantly fully heal anything with zombie status at a 100% rate.
