There is no guild HQ, nor does the thing in orbis look anything like that nor is it perched precariously on a mountain.

We can't even truly tell if you are correct. There's no proof what that castle is. We know those castles are the same, though.

Who knows. We don't even know if that 'beam' is friendly or not. The cyan-bright color would seem to point out it isn't the black magician's, which would certainly be darker and more red, more ominous.
