Do they really? Other than magicians I don't think statless will suck at all. Warriors wont have much need for acc which makes dex useless to add points in, bowmen can easilly get the str for bows/crossbows from gear alone. Thieves and pirates are a little more tricky, but its hardly impossible to use level 120 weapons with lowest possible base secondary stat. Not to mention if the VIP weapons are possible to get without selling your soul to jebus, that will totally and utterly crush regular stat chars pre- and post big bang. It's a shame, I was so happy with the potential systems way of promoting higher lvl gear. It wasn't enough though.
