You pay actual mesos to use/extend skills. GP only unlocks new/higher levelled skills. You can pay more money to extend the duration of the buff, meaning if you have enough you can potentially have the buff all the time.

Hahahaohwow. A gold sink that's insanely beneficial for the players while also being a subtle way to suck up mesos from the economy without making people whine how expensive it is (like 4th job mounts). 20k+/hour? Small-time. Of course the only question is if that 1st buff is a drop buff (drops only) or it's basically a mini 2x drop card, then we may have a problem for the Mapleconomy.
