Questions, help about entering an university as a foreigner.

Regarding parents, they've already said that if you put effort on something, it's definitelly worth it and already said there's no problem living outside the state if it's an oportunity to graduate. But the problem is that they refered as state, not country. But i believe that it's definitelly not that hard to convince them regarding it.
