[Question] Atomic Hammer v. Rocket Punch

Atomic Hammer(with Metal Fist Mastery): 480% Damage, 60% chance of 3 second stun, ignores 30% of the mobs defense. 6 mobs.
Rocket Punch: 560% Damage, 100% chance of 3 second stun. 6 mobs.

Atomic Hammer (seems) to be faster.

Atomic Hammer has less horizontal range, but more vertical range, and can hit a small amount behind you.
Rocket Punch has a larger horizontal range, but a lesser vertical range and can't hit behind you.

So my question is, is Rocket Punch really better?

Does the extra 80% damage really make up for it's (seemingly) slower speed and lack of ignoring 30% of the mobs defense?
