Disgusting... I can't believe people honestly find them cute. Deer of any age. Live in rural North Dakota for a while and you'll learn to hate these destructive and filthy creatures. They are not at all cute. They ruin everything in sight and spread disease like crazy. And that's not to mention the hundreds of car accidents they cause around here.
Your thread title freaked me out at first, honestly. Because fawns seriously ARE taking over around here. Grazing right in our freakin' front yards during DAYLIGHT HOURS. WTH? It's bad enough they destroy our gardens/yards every single year during the night. Now they're not even afraid to do it in plain sight. It's ridiculous and I'm reaching the boiling point with them. Can't shoot them in city limits (and, unfortunately, we are considered within the town), which is retarded considering we're right on the edge... We get massive herds of deer all around us. All. Year. Long. In the winter, they even come right up to our back door (which is glass).
...ugh. Now I'm angry just thinking about them. Live 21 years with this crap and you'll wish every single one had its brains blown out. I hate that there's a "season" for killing them. It should be open season, all year long. No limits. Deer genocide. Rewards for killing more, even.
