Look, I'm not trying to say people are stupid for wanting chairs, I was just wondering why people would be willing to spend so much money on something that doesn't do much anything. I mean even monster cards are free. I was just curious to see if there was something about it I was overlooking.
As things stand right now after a certain point, it's the exact opposite - the higher level, the LESS there is to do.
It's just something to collect. Lord knows there aren't a lot of things to collect in this game, chairs are one of the few things that you can collect which aren't going to be priced based on how good they are (like weapons) or restrict your ability to do things by filling up a useful inventory (Medals). It's a status symbol for others, "Look how wealthy i am in game, i can buy aesthetics items for exorbitant prices!" No different than most things people collect in real life.
