I could never get TS to work properly before it was maxed and always wondered why cyanne said to chain it to FA. I kept trying to FA, then dash and use TS, which seemed really stupid. I always saw that "special effect" on TS, BS, and FA about it being a certain level, so I just waited until it was at that level befroe using it again.
So what happens is I just use FA, and press the attack key. Just like when you land and use BS, when you land and press the attack key, you will instantly TS (provided it's level 20). Then I understood why it's actually helpful.
Imo, I don't think it's a good idea to use TS by itself, but rather chain it always if you plan to use it. I don't think it works well at typhons, but FA rushes, and TS acts like a second rush which does help on maps like gallos and skeles.
