A long time ago, I bought the locks to secure my favourite items and calm my nerves, since I kept hearing about new hacking waves every other month. I would have sealed all my equips permanently if the option were still around, but I only got around to sealing around half of them with permalocks before Nexon unexpectedly and ironically stopped selling them after I reported my expiring overall. I sealed the rest with yearlong locks, but I don't think I want to renew them when they expire. Nexon already defeated the lock's purpose in keeping my items safe by creating new ways to destroy items every few months.
Regarding account security, I changed my password often and never got hacked. Now I don't really care anymore because my time on MS is drawing short. I already gave my account info away, and since I won't have MS available to me in college, there will be absolutely no way for me to check whether or not my account has been raided. I do doubt that will happen though, as I trust the person I gave my account to.
As for your last comment, I'll spend NX how I want to. I don't care what you think of my spending habits, because I don't even charge NX. In my opinion, that's more self-control than most of you NX monkeys showing off your hundreds-of-times cubed-to-death items can accomplish.
