There's a dot marking a map near the center on this map that doesn't correspond to a map that's currently in the game. Since the only way the dots show up on the continent map is if there's a place in the data it's connected to, that means there's at least one map that's on Nexon's internal servers that isn't in the official game.
I'm just saying that it might sometimes not mean anything. It might just be to make it look not plain.
(hope that's clear enough, it's hard to write it legibly when we use the word "Map" to refer to the world maps and each screen of the game.)
