So I just moved into my college dorm yesterday, and finally today I decided to test out Maple. I was able to successfully log in the first time, but noticed that it took literally anywhere from thirty seconds to two minutes to move from one screen to the next, whereas at home, it never took more than maybe ten.
I brought with me the same laptop I have used to play Maple since last October, so the only thing that has changed is the internet. I am connected by an ethernet cable, so it's not wireless. I haven't moved hundreds and hundreds of miles away-- Nay, I'm only about 130 or so miles from home.
Laptop:
Windows Vista
Acer Aspire 5520-5912
AMD Turion x2 Mobile Technology TL-58 1.9GHz
2.00 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 7000M / nForce 610M
Internet:

Is there some issue with the University internet service that's slowing me down? It's fast as hell with everything else, but when it comes to Maple, I get so frustrated with its speed (or lack thereof). Is there anything I can do?
