There is an exploit going on and it's not explicitly tied to the event. They've just taken advantage of the fact that there's an extremely valuable highly desirable item that can be stacked. The server crashes late at night on khaini and the others? the ridiculous abundance of Chaos Scrolls and 2hand 50%? the sudden drop in price - there's only one explanation. The supply has radically increased and it wasn't done legitimately.
