I had the same issue. I had just leveled up, put 1 point into Slash Storm to make it level 5 (my build was messed up at the time), leaving me with 2 SP leftover. After I used the book, I was still at level 5. I'm not sure if I should leave Slash Storm at 19 or not, now.

Sure, I'll really only lose out on 1 point of Nimble Body, but if it happens with the other Mastery Books too...

For reference, I bought the 3rd Dual Blade Package, the one with Tornado Spin and Slash Storm.

I'll write a ticket tomorrow. I'm not logged in MS right now, so I don't have the exact names for the package or anything.
