In a response to the laptop charging issue, i dont know if your port on your laptop is anything like mine (Sony....its okay) But i have 2 prongs in the port that connect to a single prong in the charger. Occasionally I will have to adjust the 2 prongs using...a knife or whathaveyou.
Other than that, Laptops are finicky and are difficult to work on.
^^^ I can attest to that. It seems like 80% of the computer work on in our store are Dells.
As far as the charging is concerned, I'm really hoping its just the adapter. The internal components can be a real pain in the ass to work with.
