Ive advised everyone ive ever talked "Computers" to, to not buy Dell computers PERIOD! >< IMHO their computers are utter trash.
In a response to the laptop charging issue, i dont know if your port on your laptop is anything like mine (Sony....its okay) But i have 2 prongs in the port that connect to a single prong in the charger. Occasionally I will have to adjust the 2 prongs using...a knife or whathaveyou.
Other than that, Laptops are finicky and are difficult to work on.
