I'm playing OoT

challenge mode: complete the entire game without ever getting more hearts than what you start with, and/or only use the broken knife.

I don't know how I feel about trying to beat this with the broken knife, but a 3-heart challenge might be fun... I have OoT on the VC, so maybe I'll start one of those soon. Also, on the subject of character names: I always call my character Link in any Zelda game I play. I usually go with default names (at least for characters if not files as well) with the exceptions of games where there are no defaults or the names are utterly awful. It just feels wrong to me to call Link anything but Link.
