Probably because the groups had no strategy whatsoever.
It really doesn't seem that hard.
Kill the Seduce Arm, Kill the Dispel Arm, and isn't there zombify? Just don't have stupid bishops.
Other then that, it's just a zakum with lots of HP...
If someone can solo a normal zakum, 30 people can beat Chaos Zakum.
Horntail? That's a different story.
You just need people that don't fail at their job.
