CHTP can only be scrolled once with an egg. I'm not sure if you can use Hammers on CHTPs because they are not allowed on HTPs either (are they that thorough?). But at any rate, even if you could, an egg can only be used if the number of slots on the pendant is 3. So you still get 1 egg/pendant. Chaos Scroll the rest of the slots, and do let us know if chaos scrolls affect +HP% and +MP% while you're at it.
The way Hammer works, if it's allowed to work at all on Chaos HTP, is that it raises the count for both "Number of Upgrades left" and "Number of times Vicious Hammer was used" and I don't know the variable for the later so meh. The fix they put on HTP was to restrict it from being Hammered at all, thus making it impossible to have RUC = 3 after the first Egg has been used. If Hammer somehow slips through, we can expect to see the glitch all over again.
