The ''Gimick'' of a legendary hero is that the thing they used to fight with had a will and mind of it's own and was able to communicate through the wielder, that is, the legend. This is what is said to Aran during his storyline, this is why Evans dragon can also talk to Evan.
If there is a pirate in the storyline of maple that already has a talking weapon, then that may in fact be the legend.
While a beast master class for archer sounds cool, it'd just be a shadow of Evan, I think they would be better off making a ringmaster that has a elf spirit inside of it, or an earring, while they ect carry bows(or xbows?). Kinda like how Evan doesn't do anything with his wand except wave it around(seriously they could have emphasised on this or gave him orbs or books)
I honestly think that the pirate will be a gunner, and that he will use a form of legendary bullets that return back to him when used after a set time, he will most likely have one special bullet that talks to him, and it will probably appear in snipe-tiered skills that he may or may not have.
Thieves already have a concept going for them, shadow partner. But imagine a constantly active and able shadow partner that can detatch itself from the thief? They could make a seriously interesting story with this.
