The Cure for the Summertime Blues!

Don't get the excitement over the potential system. All it looks like to me is radically unbalancing the game for a few months and making everything from before the patch (and anything you create with Maker... ever.) obsolete. Unless you enjoy blowing up critical pieces of your existing gear but didn't feel like throwing clean slates on them until they vaporized, then I guess it's good.

If you're lucky as all hell, then you get to keep the gear you already had but with stronger stats. If not, then you get to spam scrolls on level 100 equipment until you get a stronger piece of equipment. You're still getting stronger than you were before, the only thing you have to get past is the "loss" of money that you invested in your old set.
