While it's true we have a better recovery, bandits make up with an alternate way to recover, chakra, and a skill that protects them from damage, meso guard. We are perfectly balanced there. Survavility VS optimization. It's a nice contrast. However, what I'm saying is that before, we had flash jump, and they had assaulter. However, in this situation, assaulter has lower mobility (at least better now) and only usable sometimes. Not really balanced there. However, with this simple change, us Night Lords changed from the best moving class in the game from the start, to the worst moving thief branch, because all thieves now have flash jump, but we now lack a distinct movement skill. And while I like how our optimization is getting better, it kinda reversed the roles I thought were at the start.
HOWEVER. The reason I never complained was because we don't actually loose any movement skills. In fact, we still are on the top 5, and while it's nice, it'd be interesting to see something that made us more unique on that matter, like the old times.
UHM... I think I really made myself clear this time, not sure about the other times.
I'm going to start this post off by saying Chakra is by all standards useless. The only time I even came close to using it was when I was in the dojo, and it wasn't even succesful because the animation takes so damned long. I'd rather have full HP in half a millisecond than wait roughly 3 seconds for a CHANCE of getting my HP back. You can't even use it unless your HP is below 50%. Fail skill is fail. Meso Guard is our only HP based skill.
Comparing Flash Jump and Assualter isn't fair in the least. You can FJ around town and from map to map while we can only use it for training. It's the only skill in the game that requires a monster to be used. Honestly, I don't think Nexon was thinking in terms of movement speed. Of Shads and Dual Blades, they're the ones who have a noticeable speed advantage. Shads are only faster when training, and we probably won't be using it while training or bossing unless it's to shorten the distance between us and a monster. Night Lords are probably going to be stuck where they are, as a skill where you rush in doesn't sound like it'll happen for a ranged class. Maybe you should make a Dual Blade or a Shadower, since apparently movement speed is what you want.
I generalized you into the lake that is the Night Lord community. All the comments about Night Lords wanting to get more speed boosts because Dits get it all blended into one massive wall of rage in my head. I thought you were some other Night Lord that had complaints very similar to your own and I apologize. I jumped the gun on that one.
Yeah, you made yourself a lot clearer this time. Before you just sounded like the stereotypical high leveled Assassin...
