That being said, I have 29 steal and went and maxed dark sight. Steal isn't an auto activate skill, so I doubt so many people would go back and put points into a fully useless skill. Most Dits/CBs/Shads I see have Steal, just don't have it set to a hotkey and never use it.
The only utility value Steal has past second job is its 100% stun, which is only replaced by Boomerang Step.
