There are some things in the video that are exaggerated. Like "my neighbor pays for class but never shows up". Maybe they dropped out of the class, maybe they were in a car accident. But also that 4-year colleges have a lot of people that have parents paying for their education. They might as well be in high school. But realistically, out of a classroom, whether it's 10 people or 100 people, how many people "pays for class but never shows up"? Like 2?

"I spend 2 hours a day on the cellphone"? Why not just spend two hours to hang out with friends so you can talk to them face to face? It saves you some minutes and gets you fresh air.

Anything can be portrayed as all-good or all-bad. Take this article. To take something that's "bad" and make it sound like it's good. I wish I can remember and find a piece I read that made sleeping with your sibling sound like a good thing; moralistically right even. It all depends on what you're going after and then wording yourself to make the audience believe it.

Also, the environment of the college also shapes the way people think of it. Like your own; you like your college. You have friends, you enjoy enlightening yourself. I think it's only natural that you find yourself among the norm of your college. Because in a college, you're not the smartest kid in your class anymore. Everybody is.

But Isaac can relate himself to the video; not enough study hours, studying things that aren't relevant to your career, buying hundreds of dollars textbooks that professors don't even teach out of.

It all depends on what you want to highlight and how you want to portray it to make people think the way you want them to.
