This is where we have different beliefs. I believe that respect is something that is earned. The contributions you make in the form of guides, helpful advice, funny posts, and so forth all culminate into something that I can appreciate and show gratitude. I don't have the heart to show respect to everyone. I believe that if you show respect to everyone around you, you cheapen the meaning of respect. Respect isn't something that is simply handed to a bum on the street or someone who has done nothing but party and play games. That is pity. Respect is a feeling of admiration and adoration for another person that can't be given to other people. This is what I believe is respect. This is not to say that I can't be considerate, but in no way or form is having consideration for everyone synonymous with the term respect. "Respect should not be confused with tolerance, since tolerance doesn't necessarily imply any positive feeling..."

Also, I'm being unbelievably nice to you, considering the fact that I've tolerated all your antics since you joined without saying anything until recently. I don't have to be nice to you, but I will try to continue to the extent that I can and to the extent that you try to be civil in return.

Okay, well, everyone has his own view of things anyways.

I've always been civil with you, even after your various posts against me. If anything, YOU haven't with me.
