offtopic: I wonder what Krakia looks like now. The tech place we used to think it was, or a city of plant-people. (or is that Vineland, now?)

Anyways, was "the Alchemist" taught at CWK (from what we know), or did he learn his alchemy from a faraway land? (Magatia?)

We know for a fact that he wasn't at Crimsonwood, as he was already at work before Ridley's time and the two of them never met. Since we still don't know exactly at what point in time Magatia was the seat of the Black Magician's power or when the whole Elin thing happened it's hard to say.
