Knowing people like me I'd wear nothing less than Unique quality items if only to avoid going through the trouble of spending money upgrading from low potential to high. Having no way to get the equipment I mentioned through drops means if they don't start dropping soon, potential scrolled equipment of that rarity will be insanely expensive if it hits unique status.
