Consider it like the outlaw's triple fire in how it overrides double shot, and that's basically what ulti strafe is.
We didn't get a working of FA + pierce because it only activates 40% of the time and we only had 1-2 instances where he used it. perhaps if there is a training vid sonner or later, we'll know.
