I loved the MM skills, which is why I played one. I play a class for the fun of using the skills, not for the DPS.
I have to disagree with you on this one, I can 100% 2hko a mob of 6 chief oblivion guardians, and despite pierce having a charge up time, it's faster than you give it credit for. I can fire off two pierces faster than I can fire off 4 strafes. The ONLY thing that really pisses me off about Pierce is getting bumped and having it cancel as I fire, or getting spawned on and releasing EPIC CHARGED MB (for no additional MB damage f3.) The latter will not be an issue after Big Bang.

Actually, Dusk showed me a RECENT kmst vid of a bishop using AR. It does NOT have point blank range, the range is the same as it has always been, the range listed in the skill data is actually the SPLASH RADIUS for the arrow itself. So if anything you should be complaining about how hard it is going to be to hit 4 monsters with AR, as they pretty much have to be right on top of each other.
