He didn't do any math. Cruel ring = 1 Weapon Attack more than Crit ring. The 5% chance of doing +20% damage has the exact same effect as the 10% chance of doing +10% damage when you don't have SE. If his gear is as good as he says and he's counting Apples, that's not even half a % difference in DPS without SE. I don't care what stats he actually has. The Crit ring is just flat out superior. He can get the Cruel ring if he wants, but his reasoning is flawed.
