You can play MapleStory without ever paying for NX. As it stands, you can't play certain parts without NX, like aPQ. No lawsuit over that.
A Cash-exclusive job breaks no Free2Play deals. You can't play that job for free (well you can, MTS), but you can play the game for free just fine.
