While is may not be directly horribly bad to your health, as much as a counterpoint in Alcohol and Cigarettes, it's not GOOD for you, regardless of what you say. Also, I've had several friends go from fun, great people who constantly loved just sitting around and having fun with each others company, to boring, dull, 24/7 pot smokers who do absolutely nothing with their lives. On top of that, since they've done pot, they were more open to do cocaine, pills, ecstasy, and other drugs. I'm sorry, but that makes me thing it's bad for you, again, not directly, but it leads into horrible habits.
While I've never done pot and will never try it (I think smoking anything is rather disgusting), I don't mind if my friends do it, as long as they don't turn into some papayagot that would rather go and smoke pot than hang out with a group of friends, but I think when you hit a certain age, it's time to be a functional human being and quit doing it.
