Except of course the game itself explicitly telling us we should be having at least as much of our secondary stat as needed for the average equipment of that level. Gach items don't really count there.
Choosing to stop putting it in and go with lower level equips was a personal decision to disregard the advice the game itself was giving people.
Sort of like bishops who insisted on using elemental wands and staves because they couldn't forsee them ever being fixed and they worked 'now'.
When Nexon yanks the rug under someone for doing something that technically works but was a corruption of their plans they don't often reward for it. HT Pendants being the one notable exception that once again proves you can't really be sure what Nexon will ever do.
