I'd find bossing with one button more fun because I'm seeing how fast the HP bar goes down rather than relying on my guildmates to bring the HP down while being stuck doing the same action, unable to even talk because talking means the boss runs up to my guildies and they go splat.
That's what Vent is for. I'd prefer a game where you can't stop and type messages in the middle of a boss fight.
