Even if you do make an islander, it cuts you off at some point. There's a supposed level limit of 30.
If you get the error that you need to download the full client, then you have an account with characters over level 30.
Guest login doesn't work on this. Normally, you can just click that and play. When you go to quit the game, it asks if you want to register. Similar to the TrialMS, but you have to download the full game and not make an account. With Trial, you download a partial part of the game and make an account.
Also, a friend of mine had a mule with an ore in it. When she went to the shop, it showed it NPCable for 1m+. Of course, it either gave the regular amount or no mesos at all.
