We're missing two very important factors to an MMORPG still...
1.) End Game Content - While the EXP formula has dramatically dropped, still getting to level 200 means nothing... cause there is nothing there.
2.) Security - Nexon's security flaws still makes me not trust this one bit. Why should anyone play a game where their work can be destroyed within minutes, randomly. Not to mention have the database compromised to where it can affect you greatly (ie, they have more information then they need for MS, and can target you even deeper, such as paypal).
