4th job Single Target DPS

I've been using the Aran Calculator 4.2b made by WayofTime, and I decided to tabulate some things out for you.

Looks much better! Now... let's use basic math to find the equation of this graph.

(y - y') = m(x - x')

Using co-ordinates (8, 3) and (1, 1):

(3 - 1) = m(8 - 1)

m = 2/7

Sub m = 2/7 into primary expression, and sub co-ordinates (1, 1)

y = 2/7 (x - 1) + 1
y = 2x/7 + 5/7

This would be the total damage formula. So the per-monster damage formula would become:

y = (2x + 5) / 7x
y = 2/7 + 5/7x

So, at 12 monsters, the per-monster and total damage values would be 0.345 (29/84) and 4.143 (29/7).

But...

Aran skill Modifier : (36+64 / mobCount)%

That would be the data per-monster damage. Total damage would be simply:

Where the expression of the per-monster damage is y = 0.36 + 0.64/x

Total Damage = 9x/25 + 16/25

The graph would then become:



At 12 monsters, the per-monster and total damage values would be 0.413 (31/75) and 4.96 (124/25).

So... which is correct? The difference in numbers is very big will affect DPS and other calculations greatly, so I feel that more testing is needed for confirmation.
