it is possible that it was intended. As for the actual "glitch" with it, it is really only from Poison Mist from what i have personally seen. With Poison Dagger/Star, i always see the damage i would expect to see from poisoned damage to a monster. With poison mist, there is a clear glitch, in which it shows that it is healing BF, but is actually deal more damage than what it is even showing, thus making kills VERY easy.
