Obviously to get it you need to go into the cs, but to have it be sent to you do you just need to log into the game or actually go into the cs. The fact that the timer is based on the time you go into the cs and not the time you log in is not relevant for arguing that you get the ring when you go into the cs versus when you log in because it could be acting like any other gifted cs item where it doesn't activate until you go into the cs.
It could be that when you log in the game assesses how long it has been since you're last log in and sends the appropriate ring to the cs to be claimed, or you are given the ring when you go into the cs.
The situation with your mule above just proves the time on the ring is dependent on when you enter the cs to claim it. It does not prove when the ring is assigned to the account.
It's not a matter of how/when to get the ring, it's a matter of when does Nexon actually assign you your ring. Considering other versions were able to have ring mules 6+ months after the event the only way I can see that happening is if you are assigned the ring when you log in within the event period but the timer doesn't start til you actually go to the cs to claim it. Or, their event was coded differently then ours was.
Either way I'm gonna at least try to get the 2 extra ring mules set up based on these assumptions because frankly, why not do it, takes like 30 seconds to do and I'll still have an active ring mule til the 16th anyway. I don't really lose anything.
