P.S. This is the cycle of most servers from what I know from experience lol.
Stage 1 : Start
Stage 2 : Drama
Stage 3 : Things just happen and it goes on a downward spiral including market crash bhahbbh
Stage 4 : People leave and whatnot
Stage 5 : Eventually starts to get stable.
Anywho though, there was a lot more stages, but I can't recall how I detailed it all.
Maybe I'll playing again when stage 5 starts, seeing as how we're currently in middle of stage 2. Just to much of drama in Yellonde now, it's almost unbearable.
Haiku Wrote:I do agree that it is what you make it, but to be honest, more than just a few people aren't making the best of it now and many of them probably won't until over 50%+ of the population disappears after the 2x events end (or a week after, when their cards end).
This seems to happen with all new servers these days; enormous drama phase and no one lets it die because they keep making "end the drama" topics after it's already done and over with. See: Sleepywood Yellonde section for proof of that. If people could let it go and cooperate, we could definitely turn it around. However, the majority of the GMS playerbase aren't quite out of the self-centered part of the teen years, so that's kind of too much to expect if you want it from the current mass majority of the server. That, and some people like the drama. lol `-`
As far as Yello's forum on SP goes, I'm actually impressed at how contained all the arguing is, and how many people are able to handle it with some degree of maturity. It's nice not have an entire subforum spammed with "he said she said glitch this glitch that anti this anti that legit this legit that" etc. I don't mean to imply that it isn't there, 'cause it definitely is.. but it's contained.
Imo the most we can hope for is that after things die down and all the people who are returning to their former servers hit the road, Yellonde can be a server that's willing to work together. Yeah, it's gonna lose a lot of people.. a lot.. hell, it's already lost a lot.. but the ones who stay are the ones that make it what it is anyway, right? I wouldn't worry too much.
PS. Yeah this thread does have that potential, but like I said, I wouldn't worry too much. It may get locked for the nature of the thread itself though since it kind of opens the door for what SW is currently experiencing (in the Yello subforum anyway).
lolSW. It's a pineappleing disaster there, god.
