So really this has no effect on current gear. You just use the purple scroll, then the magifying glass, then if you don't think the result is good enough you use a magic box and start over with magnifying glass and repeat until you go crazy, run out of mesos/nx, or get what you want.
And yellow scrolls are np since you can add them to any item with 0 slots.
Do any of these include chances of blowing stuff up?
