Evangelion 2.22: You Can (Not) Advance

Finally found time to watch this after sitting on it for a few days.

Oh, and I hate to be gay but I'm not really a Mari fan anymore. I...I didn't like her in this. I thought I was going to because she's sexy, but it just felt...wrong. She can't take Asuka's place. Defiling her Eva like that. Feels bad, man. I did enjoy the fanservice and her English lines, though. lol

I rewatched it in glorious 1080p bluray, pomegranate was awesome. I definitely agree with Mari and 02, but god damn the scenes with The Beast were still awesome. Can't wait to see more Asuka.

Though it was obviously not going to happen, I was somewhat satisfied with rampage afterward.

I am disappointed with the portrayal of Shinji and Asuka's relationship, but I guess that's what you get for packing a few months of stuff into two hours.
