Apparently, I am OCD.

I feel bad, just realizing this when Rob told me. Apparently, this is what I do when I play RPGs...

1) Buy the f*cking game
2) Don't open it until I go online and find a decent website that has GREAT information and data
3) Play the damn game
4) Get stuck at some point
5) Rage.
6) Start making spreadsheets to figure out which monsters has which weaknesses, and list out how much damage I'd do with certain weapons (only applicable to bosses)*
7) Start making spreadsheets for 'wanted' future weapons, and I'll start collecting materials or doing quests that further helps me to obtain those weapons.**
8) Read guides over and over
9) Watch videos over and over
10) Then attempt at fighting the boss/monster

If 10 fails, I start getting more technical with my sh`it.

This has so far been applied to: Legend of Dragoon, Monster Hunter, and Phantasy Star Online.

This thread was inspired by a recent Khoi & Rob chat on MSN that involves my Monster Hunter playing habits. Though Sarah collects Pogeys in boxes, that's different. I can't really compare how me and her thinks, because both types of games are different, aside from the fact that they're both RPGs and that the ones I'm usually playing is like.. running around and killing monsters to get drops, instead of catching them all.
