Leeching really does pale in comparison to actual training nowadays.
There are only two exceptions but they are both for low levels that fly by anyway. The first would be bf leeching but that really only works up to about 90 if you include suicide leech. Since you can't really get bf leech til you have a decent attacking char anyway it is also rather pointless for the purpose you want it for. The second is pg skele leech which doesn't slow down til about 50 at best.
The higher level skele/gallo/newtie leech just isn't that much more effective compared to training yourself. You'd actually be wasting time training a bishop in order to leech yourself, especially considering what a horrible char they are to train to 4th nowadays. You wouldn't even be able to benefit from the blessing considering they'd have to be on diff accts in order to leech anyways.
In order to leech from a pg mule everyone needs to be partied (attacker, pg, leecher) and the leecher has to be within 5 levels of the pg'er. SI does affect the entire party.
