I'm disappointed in the non-central role Mari played, as well as how few lines Asuka had compared to what I expected, but they were all amazing. All the references made me cringe, especially at the end after the credits. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Mari in combat is amazing. It was such a drastic change compared to every other scene, and it was just beautiful. God, now I'm just shitting myself thinking of what's going to happen, if anything with Arael vs Asuka, and the conclusion of the battle with Zeruel.
