Anegos are pretty scarce in my server because there's always one or two people that kill all of them all day, so I haven't really bothered looking for them to try again. I didn't feel like spending 2 to 30 minutes to *maybe* find an Anego on 1x when I could just train with Carlos on 2x/4x. It's just not worth the time.

We usually fought all 3 on top of each other because there were far more warriors than ranged people and they wanted their Brandish and such to hit three targets. Stuns suck and make you feel worthless, so I decided to just stand on top of 'em and do the Cannon thing. When the boat breaks, I use Octopus and Air Strike and Flame/Ice when both of those are cooling down. Even on my Bowmaster I felt I did better damage just standing on the three of them and using Arrow Rain.
